Which minerals are concerned by the Carcinogens and Mutagens Directive (CMD) proposal?

All minerals/raw materials containing crystalline silica (whatever the content percentage) are concerned. The IM producers and their customers will have to control the potential exposure to the respirable crystalline silica dust generated during their processes in accordance with the minimization obligations of the CMD: i.e. articles 4.1., 5.2. and 5.3. of the Directive.
